TalkToWP monitors WordPress sites and reports what is wrong with them. This connector gives Claude the fleet data TalkToWP already collects, so you can ask about your sites in plain language instead of opening a dashboard. WHAT CLAUDE CAN READ Site health and configuration — WordPress, PHP, plugin and theme versions, hosting, SSL, caching and cron. Uptime and response-time history. Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals. Security posture including headers, WAF and DNS email records. Detected incidents with their error text. Pending core, plugin and theme updates across every connected site. UPDATE RISK, SCORED AGAINST REAL OUTCOMES Before recommending an update, Claude can call assess_update_risk. It returns a plugin's reliability score, observed update success rate, common failure patterns and known conflicts, drawn from anonymised outcomes across every site TalkToWP monitors — then reports which of those conflicting plugins are actually installed on the site you asked about. Scores carry a confidence tier, so a plugin with little evidence behind it is reported as such rather than guessed at. WHAT CLAUDE CAN CHANGE With your permission: apply plugin, theme and core updates, activate or deactivate plugins, clear caches, manage posts, pages and block templates, manage WooCommerce products and orders, and read or write files inside wp-content. Every one of those groups is off by default. You grant them separately, per site, from your TalkToWP dashboard, and a switch inside your own WordPress admin overrides all of them. On the free plan every read tool works and every tool that changes a site is refused. WHAT IT CAN NEVER DO Install or delete plugins and themes, change users or roles, run database queries, or write outside wp-content. It refuses to read or write wp-config.php, .env files and private keys, so your database credentials and WordPress security keys are never transmitted.
