Use only when the structure is requested. toc[].id open with get_authority. status=unavailable preserves a known provision whose current expression is not proved; opening it returns its typed limitation. browse_instrument

Delta feed of sealed legal effects whose effective date is on or after since (YYYY-MM-DD) — including already-published future entry into force. Public change classes only: created, amended, repealed, suspended, denounced, new_decision, new_ruling, treaty_effect; internal maintenance classes (parser corrections, republishes, metadata backfills) are not served. effects[] carry workId and source{authority,url}. An effect on one provision also carries id, openable with get_authority; an effect on a whole instrument carries workId only — navigate it with browse_instrument. An id is never served unless get_authority opens it.

changes_since

get(id, date?, language?): sealed text + official source + verification=verified + citation {text, url, markdown}: quote citation.markdown (clickable official link) in the answer. language selects an exact publisher manifestation using a two-letter BCP 47 language (fr, de, it, en); if that manifestation is absent, IFG returns a typed gap, never another language. Omit language for the existing default. A publisher translation is not silently presented as authentic law. Unproven text is never published; its official authority must be acquired first. applicability.status remains compiled. Default rail: currentVersion, applicableFrom, previousVersion, nextKnownEffect. Effects collapse to current_effect / future_effects / historical_effects_count. include_versions lists dated expressions. include_effects or mode=audit restores overlay detail. Treaty scope is chosen by IFG; tax_context only if a real ambiguity remains.

get_authority

The host reasons; this tool delivers sealed authorities and does not answer a tax question. search(query): best authorities, ranked principal instrument > consolidated > execution > travaux > related. query is a reference (CGI 119 bis, ECLI:FR:CE…, BOI-RPPM-RCM-30-30-20-20, treaty/CH-FR-1966), an official title or a tax notion in the words of the trade (abus de droit, Körperschaftsteuersatz, cedolare secca) — never a question or a sentence. jurisdiction is required for any free query; only an exact canonical id (FR/LEGITEXT…, treaty/FR-DE-1959/7, ECLI:FR:…) may omit it. The provision whose own heading or official classification carries the notion comes first, the law before its guidance and case law. Catalogue browsing: query="" + jurisdiction lists the shelves; kinds keeps the search in those layers. time_budget is a typed gap (retry), not an error and not absence. A question is refused (invalid_query) without searching. A free query without jurisdiction is refused (invalid_query) without searching. Open a candidate's id / authority_id with get_authority. browse_instrument only if the table of contents is required. Snapshot is session-scoped. resolution.status: ok | no_hit_for_this_query | time_budget | a typed gap — a miss is never proof of absence.
