Description
HailPing publishes reports for qualifying hail events in the continental United States. Ask where it hailed, when, and how large, and get the facts from published reports: the largest reported hailstone, the number of reports at 1.00 and 1.75 inches and up, the affected cities and counties, the hail size distribution, and a link to the report page with the map. Five things it can do: - Find storms by state, city, date range and minimum hail size. - Pull one storm report in full by its slug or hailping.com URL. - Find storms within a radius of a point or a city, nearest first, over the last N days. - Show a city's hail history: the last significant hail date, the largest recent hail, how many qualifying events are on record, and each one's report. - With a HailPing sign-in (a free account works), check one US street address: the days since October 2020 that radar-estimated hail reached it, and how large. The published catalog covers the continental United States from 2025 onward, from ground hail reports (Vaisala Xweather and the National Weather Service) and NOAA MRMS radar estimates grouped by HailPing; reported and radar-estimated hail do not confirm property damage. It is not a forecast or warning service. Answers link to hailping.com, where the same facts are published for anyone to check.
